Adam and Eve?

I know that artists normally portray Adam and Eve as slim and classically beautiful, but for some reason this piece by Mic (it’s on the side of a house in our neighbourhood) makes me think of Adam and Eve:

I have wondered for a while whether Adam and Eve would really have looked anything like the classical images of beauty or wether they would have been large and hairy and asymmetrical? The stuff in Genesis 3 about Eve and Adam trying to hide themselves might help us to understand our culture’s obsession with covering the blemishes of our physicality.
