After our Seeds City Mob dinner tonight I led us on a Laneway Labyrinth walk.
Before we left on the walk, Dave decided to hang up in our laneway some rather dreadful art that another Urban Seed resident got out of a dumpster several years ago:
On a Laneway Labyrinth walk, we spend about an hour walking silently [...]

So U2’s new album, No Line on the Horizon, got ‘accidentally’ leaked yesterday. Have been listening to it. My first response was that it was a bit disappointing and naff, but it might be growing on me.

Trav and Cara are getting married on Saturday, so yesterday in Ballarat we had Trav’s bucks night.
First, we gave Trav a cooking challenge. He had to cook vegetables. (Trav doesn’t like his vegetables.) And we only gave him one bit of the recipe at a time, and only after correctly answering a trivia question.

Andreana organised an Open Mic-less concert on Monday night, in the Pioneer Women’s Garden. (We were originally going to have it at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl, but decided it wasn’t a real nice space.)

There is one busker I see around the place regularly who really makes me cringe every time I hear him. I cross the road to avoid him because I hate his singing.

Apparently Robert Doyle also said, ‘I don’t want [...]

On Sunday night at Collins Street Baptist Church we had our 5pm church service in the Sanctuary for the first time. We’re trying meeting in there because we’re running out of room in the Narthex.
Also, the Spring Into Gospel Festival is coming up in October at CSBC. There is a flier about it here.

I’m about to head down to St Kilda to have tea with Uncle Smithamsy, before we go to see Billy Bragg at the Prince of Wales. (Billy Bragg sings songs at people while playing guitar, and he helped get rid of Margaret Thatcher. And he gets guitars for people in gaol so they can escape.)

After work today Dad came over and had a look at our garden. Then Mum and Adam and Justin came in on the train, and Nomes got back from the beach and we had Chinese food for tea. Adam gave me a bootleg of the U2 show we went to. Justin gave me some [...]

I got back to the embassy after the concert at about twelve thirty. There wasn’t really any space left for me to lie down and go to sleep, so I just sat against the barricade. Ben turned up on his rollerblades, with two containers of rice that he’d cooked for us.
I ended up not actually [...]
