Here are some explanations of a few of the stations:

We had several stations where there was a large print-out of the passage of scripture that Brian McLaren had spoken about earlier on. There were markers at the stations where people could underline parts they thought were important, or add their own comments or questions.

We had many camera stations (maybe 20?) around the grounds. On the back of each camera it encouraged people to think about what they saw, heard, smelt, felt as they were lingering.

We had a number of umbrella stations around the grounds as well. The instructions asked people to think of one word they would say (on national television, or to their ancestors - each umbrella station mentioned a different situation) what it would be. The catch would be that afterwards you would have to take a vow of silence. People were asked to write the word they would choose on a tag, and tie it to the umbrella. (Mark got this idea from <a href="http://here2day.netwiz.net/" rel="nofollow">Seyed Alavi</a>.)

I think there were about ten of the cardboard tube stations. People were invited to lie underneath these tubes, and think about what the word they could see lit up (eg. 'linger', 'hold', 'open', 'look', 'start') inside meant to them.

Visiting your site for the first time. (Found it through the Twitter #WorldVision) I loved your photos of The Day of Prayer: Theme, Lingering.
I would love for you to blog some more on the Day, especially talking about and discussing how the Lingering Theme was experienced.

Thanks so much,
Gail

Visiting the Casino went really well. We got some attention from security while we were reading about the widow who put all her money in the Temple treasury, but we didn't let them intimidate us.
The week has gone really well, but I'm glad it's finished now!
