Early in 2009 I started posting the questions from the Gospels on Twitter, out of their proper context. Some people who’ve been following @JesusQueries have said that having these questions pop up on their phone or computer has prompted them to think about what they’re doing and why, as they go about everyday life. It can be interesting to see how these questions relate to our own circumstances.
At the beginning of Advent 2009, after I finished tweeting Luke’s gospel, I started tweeting questions from the lectionaries (Catholic, Anglican and Revised Common).
You can now also follow JesusQueries on Facebook.
The idea for @JesusQueries has come from the Seeds Network‘s series of Queries and Advices, which have themselves been inspired by a Quaker tradition.
Fantastic. Creative use of social networking to get people thinking about Jesus – I love it!
