Sweating blood, Footscray

Marcus has sent me these photos of my animations, which he had playing in the window of Footscray Baptist Church over Easter:

‘Your colour comes off!’

I’m on my way out to Gembrook, where the Indigenous Hospitality House community are for Easter. (Today is one year since Mehrin and I started going out.)
On my way down to Flinders Street Station I ran into an indigenous man I’ve met a few times, and he invited me to sit down with him in [...]

Good Friday at CSBC

Used my Gethsemane animations at CSBC last night. Len did a short sermon about difficult decisions – decisions that make you sweat. Decisions where you have to choose between hurting someone else or absorbing pain within yourself, as Christ chose at Gethsemane (Luke 22). After the sermon I invited people to think of a decision [...]

Gethsemane on the Verandah

Setting up for Good Friday

Been working out how I’m going to set up for the Good Friday service at CSBC.

Easter savings at Tuckerbag!

His sweat was like great drops of blood…

Marcus has just sent me a picture from Bendigo of him going to great lengths setting up my Easter animation:

Good Friday at CSBC

Watching paint drip

Been working today on an animation for the Good Friday service at CSBC. This involved taking over sixty photos of dripping paint and a few hours at the Athenaeum Library (I like the atmosphere) putting stills together.

‘I’m Thirsty’

This is an animation that NZmarkla produced during Lent last year, while taking part in Cityside’s Desert Files.

This is a catalog of everything I drunk during Lent 2008.
